Good location: close to the town centre and starting points of hiking trails, as well as giving picturesque view on the mountain. Perfect for family visits. Stylish and cosy interior, beautiful exterior. All the beds have electric blankets, which makes it difficult to get out of bed in the morning 😉.

The chimney does not provide enough heat for the house and its walls do not collect warmth to give it to the rooms during the night (but it is the same issue with practically every chimney in South Africa). Only one gas heater is provided. The house needs the second gas heater for the second bedroom, otherwise the guests need to throw a dice who has the heater.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, neat, and very spacious. The rooms were big with super comfortable beds, and everything was well-maintained. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed.

While the place itself was clean, spacious, and in a great location, there were a few things that impacted our experience. Unfortunately, the water was switched off across the town from 8 PM to 5 AM, something we were not informed about beforehand. The next morning, we were also unable to leave the property as there was no key available to unlock the gate, and we had to call Lisa to bring one. We were informed that the ownership and name of the property had changed just a few weeks before our stay. Although both emails we received about the changes reassured us that everything would remain the same, daily cleaning services were not provided during our visit, and there was no communication about this beforehand or upon arrival. A heads-up on these changes would have made a big difference.
