House was great location just right for island A great island to visit would diffently come again

Terrific location and spotless cottage with cosy fire and comfortable bed.

There’s nothing I didn’t like.

Val's cottage was perfect for our family of four. We had lots of space and kitchen was equipped with everything you may need. It's also a short stroll to amazing beach and kids loved local sheep dog that came to greet us everyday. There was very good communication from the owner as Achill was hit by major storm just days earlier. I thought that we would need to cancel but Val managed to have everything up and running for us. Top notch. We'll definitely stay again.

House is lovely. Much bigger than the photos make it seem. Living room has a double bed and downstairs toilet to the back, very handy if you're disabled. Upstairs has 2 double beds and a single. It's very clean and comfortable.

The heating didn't work but we didn't want to make a fuss so we just used the open fire as the weather was very mild. I was supposed to take my dogs but decided not to and put them in kennels. Had I taken them, they would not have been happy about the dogs there that live near by and come into the property if the door is left ajar. One of my dogs is very friendly but my chiuahaha is not when it comes to other dogs and this would have meant a lot of hassle. Also the dogs pooed outside the front door on one occasion and my little one stood in it. Some people really don't like dogs either so a fair warning if this would bother you.

Val is a wonderful host. Ideal location. We love it.

Beautifull Ocean View cottage . Views amazing and beach just down the road , always accompanied by a sheep , was such a lovely stay . Cottage was clean and everything we needed , comfy beds plenty of towels, t towels etc , plenty cutlery, pots and pans . Microwave , washing machine. Open fire which was perfect at night time when it got chilly added to the whole scenery. Nearest shop is in keel about 10 min drive so stock up when ya go . 😁 Even the drive to shop is breath taking . And Val was so nice , gave us all the info . Was the perfect few days away for complete relaxation and forget about your worries. Just Chill 😎 and doggies allowed 🐶 which our little one loved her daily walks on the beach .

Great location with the beach a few minutes walk away, a little shop in the campsite down the road and the hotel for a few pints.
