It is in the heart of the hills. Stunning location.

Cute decor inside, lovely log burner with lots of wood and kindling available. Furniture was really comfortable too, and the place was nicely decorated with fun art all over. The shower was bigger than expected and modern, with a large rain shower head with good pressure. Lots of electric heaters and extra blankets available for the cold nights! Got back late one night and the key broke in the lock, Thom came to the rescue and showed us an alternative way into the property despite it being 11:30pm at night and below freezing temperatures! Thank you Thom! The stables are shared by horses who made lovely NEIGH-bours and we were welcomed in the morning by 3 friendly dogs. All people on site were friendly and kind too. Lovely location - situated right next to a pub a small shop, and beautiful woodland. Only a 10 minute drive to Dorking.

The fridge was a little dirty inside, and it contained a small internal freezer which didn’t have a door - this meant that some of the food we put in the fridge froze over.

Great location, great unusual place for accommodation. The yard, horses and plenty of room for my horse box. Great owner and conversations with Thom. Nice early morning wake up call by the farrier as soon as I heard the nails being clipped off. Bathroom could do with a paint and a small sink, but you can get by very easily, so it's not a negative.

No negatives at all as I fit easily into this environment, but not everyone will.

I can only think of one thing to whinge about: no salt in the kitchen. We probably eat too much anyway

The stable was much bigger than we imagined and had everything we needed. Thom and Jane are great hosts and couldn’t do enough for us

The property is a perfect base for cycling The Surrey Hills. We loved The Plough and it’s adjoining coffee shop over the road.

Simple and quirky, but in a fantastic location

For us, nothing - it was great. But visitors need to be aware that it is in a working stable!

Quiet well appointed little holiday home. Comfortable bed. Thom the owner, great character and couldn't have been more helpful. Ideal for a weekends mountain biking.

Locatie is echt een verbouwde zadelkamer en stal op een “yard” waar paarden in stallen verblijven. Paarden zijn zeer welgemanierd en rustig. Bed is prima, schoon linnengoed, extra kussens, kamer ruikt fris, meubels zijn gedateerd maar prima. Keuken goed uitgerust, magnetron, oven, koelkast , vriezer etc. Kruiden, thee, koffie etc allemaal aanwezig. Heerlijke handdoeken ! extra aanwezig. Host en kinderen zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam. Aanwezige honden ook goed luisterend. Host had overal bloemen neergezet. Het geheel ademde zorgzaamheid en oog voor detail. Extra straalkachels, extra fan en een echte houtkachel. Grootste verrassing; geen muggen!

Je woont op een stal dus het is niet echt hygienisch schoon. Als je niet te kieskeurig bent is t prima .
