Amazing facilities and spectacular view!

This area and especially this place to stay is like a dream vacation. Hosts were so nice The house felt like it was something built and managed by someone who loves doing it It didnt come off as they were running a business They literally were extending their family to yours

No bad - but 1 night isnt enough here. This place/house deserves a longer stay, only if we knew Hopefully someone else reads this and is able to do the same

Sparkling, clean with beautiful views. The large porch overlooking the valley was spectacular. The hostess was incredibly kind and helpful.

Well, where do you start? The house was fantastic. It had all the amenities in the kitchen pots, pans, dished for the oven, a proper set of knives, not the bendy IKEA ones the sette is comfortable and the TV massive, there are two double beds one soft one firm but the river view is unbelievable you end up just sitting and looking you can't take your eyes off it even at night when the village opposite lights up its is just perfect. The road to it is a private road, so it is quiet, TomTom takes you to the entrance of the private road the property name is on a post, and you just carry on to it the village of Folgosa is quite narrow to negotiate but doable we hired a Ford Puma and it fitted with ease. You have supermarkets in Peso da Ragua Continete, Pingo and Lidl which is about 15/20 mins away. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and ready to help if had any questions. We would certainly book again. Apart from this was a wedding anniversary present to ourselves, so we pushed the boat out on price for this occasion and was well worth it memories that will last forever.

Just a little hard to find, especially the last few hundred feet.

The Vila was perfectly equipped with everything you need. Everything was exactly as described! Great Coffee machine coming with several capsules. Very nice pool (cold water but we entered as I was hot day) with stunning view of the river!!! Woke up early to see the river with the morning fog on top!!! I communicated with the owners via email and they respond quite fast and gave me tips re close restaurants and super. We met them afterwards (leaving on the next gouse) and they were so friendly and make sure nothing is missing. They are preparing Wine which we bought and is excellent. Pls note that Folgosa is a small place so in case you need to buy something, find supermarket on the way - Nearest supermakets are located in Peso da Régua or Armamar. Also not too many close restaurants around. We ate at local restaurant named Douro Jovem (6 min from the Vila) which was nice but I fully recommend to do barbeque in the perfect BBQ place they have there

I wish we could stay more than 1 night…
