Casa da Avó Irene

Location was great, very close to great amenities and great part of Funchal. Apartment was clean and had wonderful little extras, like soap and dish washing liquid. The balcony is awesome. Overall pleasant and comfortable accommodation.

Could have had one or two more mirrors (made it difficult to get ready with only having mirrors in the bathroom). Aircon would be good although there were fans in the rooms which helped a lot with the heat/humidity.

location, spacious, utilities

it’s difficult to find free parking during the day but there is a paid one for 8€/24h 2 minutes walking from the property.

Apartment is perfectly located: super close to restaurants area, sea, beach, port and marine. It is a very cozy and clean and well arranged place. Terrace is a huge plus.

The house was in a super location, great access to swimming area nearby (both the swimming baths and swimming off the slipway), it was a short walk to town, right beside the old town and a great selection of restaurants and some bars, and shopping areas. The cable car to Monte is only 5 min walk so in all location is super. The house has everything you need for a week, it can get noisy at night but you are in the city so to be expected if you want to be central, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, worked fine for me, otherwise all great.

Small recommendation would be for the water in the shower could be hotter.

Everything was perfect. Hosts were easy to access and very approachable, location was great (super central!), the house was clean and had everything we needed - maybe even more than we needed. Thank you!

The only thing I’d change is the shower. The water didn’t get hot and since we were there in November, that made a difference.

Mirela is lovely, the house was clean and well located. and the view from the rooms upstairs was amazing! We highly recommend this accommodation!
