Lavadero de Mendez

Quiet location with beautiful views. The terrace was lovely to sit out and enjoy the weather, views and streetscape. Well appointed and comfortable although a small layout , best for 2 guests only. Good bus access to Granada 150- 200m down the hill. Parking at the top of the village in San Cristobel was easy and a 5 minute walk away ( but difficult on the steep cobbled paths with luggage).

Access was a little tricky with our luggage. Best to Uber to the street stairs beside the loft and walk up from there as finding a parking bay to drop bags is impossible .

A little hard to find the first time.

This is a beautiful property with an awesome view in a quiet part of town. We did not have a car and bars, restaurants, flamenco, and more were all within walking distance - we even walked here from the train station and weren’t far from busses to get to the bus station. The host provided recommendations and maps that were very helpful for us! We appreciated that it had a washer to do some laundry during our stay, also. Another plus was that the hair dryer had a diffuser for curly hair - a rare find. We will absolutely book again if ever in the area.

The bed was a little firm for me but others may enjoy that.

This was an older style property reflective of the Albayzin area with a large terrace (comfy outdoor furniture) with views looking at the back of the Alhambra. The kitchen was fully equipped with supplies (much appreciated..thanks) and a comfortable place to stay for my three nights. There were neighbourhood cafes, shops etc and not far from Alhambra..with a 15 minute walk to the town centre, cathedral etc.

Walking from the bus station to the property. The property is located up a steep hill..which normally wouldn't be an issue for me, however the main road access..without stairs) was closed due to road works..so the only access was up quite a number of flights of stairs..difficult with luggage!!!

We loved our stay here in granada. Especially the terrace with its amazing views such a great place to unwind in the late afternoon.

Nothing

The apartment was very clean and quiet, and we very much enjoyed the terrace and enjoyed the sun in the afternoon. We walked everywhere and the location is very good. When we needed to contact the agent they were very quick to respond.

When we arrived, access from Cuesta Alhacaba was difficult as the road is closed due roadworks - it was difficult to manoeuvre luggage One thing we did not like was outside the front door it was used as a dog toilet- one morning we had 4 new deposits of sh*t !

Cosy and fully equipped appartement in the hearth of the Albaícin, very convenient for walking around in the narrow streets of the area and at walking distance from places to visit such as Alhambra and Cathedral. Parking included in the price and very close to the apartment. Instructions provided by the owner for self check in worked perfectly. Both the double bed and sofa bed for one person were comfortable.
