"Nice family vacay"

The pool was the star atraction, especially for my kids. Nice scenery, comfy swing under the carob tree, lots of shades to chill during the entire day. Kids loved the dog Belina. The house is 3 minutes away from the nearest beach, with a lot of piece and quite. We'll be back

"Rustic stay in Grohote"

The house is in a good location, close to amenities in Grohote. The pool is fantasticand there is plenty of shade. The grounds are relaxed if not a little wild but it is charming. The hosts are very helpful and even picked us up from the ferry. The beauty salon of Danijela is close to the house which is good if you want to book a treatment but be aware that clients are coming and going. Not too disturbing however and it’s a very private space.

Air conditioning just in kitchen and lounge so bedrooms were warm. Need a few more mirrors!

"We loved the experience of living in a small Croatian island village."

My wife, two daughters and I spent a wonderful week at House Markoc. We felt at home and loved the village of Grohote. Daniela and Mario were super hosts and always were there to help us when we needed help but also were great at giving us privacy. Our favorite parts of the house are the leather couches under the huge shaded vine canopy at the entrance and the swimming pool with a nice sunbathing area. It is an easy, interesting five minute walk down to a very modern super market from the house. The house is also centrally located on the island making it a wonderful place from which to explore the beautiful island.
