LITTLE RED HOLIDAY HOME - 2 Bed House with Free Parking within West Yorkshire, local access to the Peak District

Nice little house.. very quiet... nice sized lounge and kitchen... Comfy bed. Outside space was good, but on 3 different levels.. quite steep...

Parking, If you park outside the zone, you get told off!!! One of the neighbours is very strict...Also if you're not good with stairs, they're quite steep...

Location was good

It's quite dirty on the carpets and oven. Also had a strong smell .

Cosy cottage

Tv too small for lounge. Location awful and parking difficult. Lounge needs a reading light. No instructions how to find property or key code given. Had to make a phone call twice to get directions and code. No microwave in kitchen or coffee machine. No views or Outlook from cottage. Booking .com didn't send key code or instructions. I do know what a gusto coffee machine looks like as I own one but it must have disappeared.; the pods were on the cupboard.

The house was lovely and warm, super comfortable and in a quiet location. It was also very nice to have plenty of coffee/ tea supplies to arrive to! The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook over your stay including enough washing up liquid. Comfortable beds, modern interior and just great! I've stayed in alot of places in and around Halifax and this one was a great stay. I will definitely look to book again for my next Halifax visit.

It's located up a steep cobbled lane which was impossible to drive up and park in my car as it is so low at the front, so I had to leave mine on the hill but I didn't recieve any issue with neighbours or tickets over a three night stay. So happy days!

A lovely modernised cottage that was really cosy and had just about everything you’d need. The area is very hilly so be prepared for a leg work out if you’re walking anywhere but the beautiful countryside makes it worth it and we were welcomed by locals at The Lord Nelson Inn at the bottom of the hill in Luddenden. Communication with Ben was prompt and helpful if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend and stay again if I’m in the area.

A great place to stay so nothing that we didn’t like. A couple of minor things would make it perfect - a hand towel in the bathroom and black coffee as not everyone can take dairy. There are some great reasonably-priced ground coffees that would be easy to make with a cafetiere.
