Manos House in Chora

Manos House was a peaceful refuge on the hill, overlooking the gorgeous Aegean sea. The views, the property, and the home itself was idyllic, fully stocked with everything from veggies in the fridge to all the coffee we could ever need, plus more. The host was like a mother to us the entire time, taking us to get groceries, bringing us coffee and cookies in the afternoon, even picking us up when we were a little lost after a late night. We were amazed and humbled by the immense generosity and kindness she showed us. Popi, you're truly an incredible person and we love you very much. The entire city was full of kind strangers who felt like family, and we were overwhelmed by how welcomed we felt. Every restaurant and pub, every person we met, was incredibly generous and joyful. All in all, Patmos is a special place for the religious scholar and the weary traveller alike, and I would absolutely recommend visiting and staying at this home. My friend and I will never forget our time here.

My friend had some work to do and the internet connection was unstable at times, but we managed to connect to Zoom calls by dialling in instead. For the regular internet user, it would be totally fine though.
