"Family of 8 all enjoyed their stay and the trips out"

Self Catering

Had to provide copy of passport. Never had to do this in the past when booking a property. Object to giving out the information to an unknown website. In the end settled for passport numbers etc to be cut off photocopy before sending

"Fab family stay with the girls"

Beautiful, comfy house with lots of space for a lovely family stay. Garden was spacious and had was lovely to enjoy a glass of prosecco that the hosts left at our arrival.

There were a couple of places that could have been slightly cleaner (bath in main bathroom, shower floors, oven), but overall very well kept

"All three couples agreed that we would stay in Tunlaw Cottage again."

Very comfy, good size and warm house. It was well equipped with everything and more one needs for a weekend break. The bed linen and towels felt soft and luxurious, the bathroom to bedroom ratio was great for three couples ensuring each couple had an en-suite. The welcome pack was also a lovely touch.

Some of the dishes and cutlery needed a rinse prior to being used but not the owners fault. We think they must have come out of the dishwasher like this and assuming they were clean just hadn’t been checked prior to being put away.

The cottage was incredibly clean and comfortable. It was very well appointed. We had lovely breakfasts sitting in the garden. The beds were comfy as were the sofas. It was a very easy house to stay in. The village is quaint with easy walks from the house. The curry house up the road was lively and buzzing and we had a lovely night. There are good amenities in the village. Parking is straightforward and the directions to the property were helpful and accurate.

The fire alarm in the kitchen was too sensitive and went off whenever we cooked anything at all.

Very clean - Great location - professionally set up -

The only issue we had was that the smoke alarm went off a little bit too easily (one in kitchen and one outside en-suite bathroom on top floor) - however at least we knew we would be safe if there had been a fire
