This is a wonderful and cozy country house in very beautiful location with amazing mountain view from the terrace. Ideal place to relax.

There are only two things to improve: to upholster the wall above the low passage with soft material so as not to bit your head and to make little window in the second bedroom.

If you like peace and love nature, this house is for you. The host is very helpful and we spend a great time at the end of summer. You can spend evenings on the large terrace and enjoy nature. The terrace has a sun roof which is not in the photos and it really helps in the hot periods. A car is highly recommended if you want to visit this place and consider that it is a house in the mountains.

If you really know where you are going then there is nothing, because you should not expect a lot of shops and restaurants around this place. It is a place for people who like a natural first.

We’ve had a fantastic time at Lithari. The property is in a beautiful, quiet area with stunning mountain views. We enjoyed our nights on the lovely terrace, admiring the sky full of stars.

Times quoted to Chania and other places not realistic - the hairpin roads make the location quite isolated.

An amazing house where we spent a wonderful time. The house is wonderful, we found peace and quiet here. The location of the house in the quiet of the village, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, is fantastic. A house with soul, where we felt great, we love such places and houses and Michalis is a wonderful host 😁! Morning coffee and evenings on the terrace were a relief for us. The view of the White Mountains is simply amazing😍! From the terrace you can also see the Volikas Shelter, there is a path nearby that will take you there, we even recommend a short trek because the views and the entire panorama are impressive, you can also see the house, and climbing among the sheep and goats is fabulous. If you decide to hike, take a lot of water and food with you, we went in the late afternoon and reached 1000m because at the top the conditions changed, but when we went below 600m it became sunny and warm again, we even recommend which climb because Crete is not only beaches but also wonderful gorges and mountains. Just remember that temperature and nature rule here, respect nature and take care of it, do not leave garbage behind, and when you see animals, give them water and something to eat, they also have a hard time coping with the heat. Beautiful stone house in the hills above Chania with glorious views of the mountain's and valleys. Very spacious for 2 and outdoor balcony area was most welcome. A good central location in a very quiet village away from the hustle and bustle of the coast.

The only thing we found was that it was a 15 to 20 minute trip to the nearest supermarket on very windy roads. There was none in the village. This was not a real problem, if you have room bring supplies for your stay, we were travelling by motorcycle, so did not.

A little paradise in the nature ! The villa was very clean and comfortable. Thank you for this stay !

Unique house with fireplace. Complete peace and quiet and yet only half an hour to Chania. I highly recommend the hiking trail on the board in the village.

Really cozy winter retreat to a quiet part of the island but still not far from Chania. We enjoyed the fire place and cool nights in December.
