Great location, friendly and accommodating hosts, well equipped

Great host, comfortable property that was in a nice location and very quiet. Nice to be near Lerwick but away from the crowds. It was very well stocked and we appreciated the flexible check in and checkout times. We cooked in almost every night with no issues.

All the comforts of home. Comfy beds, nice towels. Lovely extras like wine, bread, milk. Quick response from hosts. Handily located in suburbs of Lerwick. Parking at front. Great value for 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, and suited our group of 3 friends perfectly. As others have said, the dining/ living area would be a bit of a squeeze in the evenings for more than 4 /5 people but the limited living space pays off with the bonus of a 4th bedroom.

Plot to side has been cleared for a further building but don't let that put you off. No work was in progress and there is a nice view at the back up the hillside. Still great value.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Quiet position with good view over the bay from picnic table. Short drive into town for dinner.

Settee and arm chair, comfortable but have seen better days. Roman blinds difficult to lower and raise. Bathrooms although spotless, ready for an update.

The location was close to town, quiet and near to a supermarket with easy access to the highway. Our host and hostess were readily available to help with any questions or concerns. They prepared basic supplies for our arrival. The cottage is spacious, bright, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Very close to town and shopping. Host left us local produce bread milk cake and a bottle of wine for our arrival. There was a great amount of information where to visit and maps of Shetland which we found very useful. We had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.

There was nothing I didn’t like.
