Absolutely spotless with real character and in a great location. Jose the owner dropped by and gave me a bottle of wine from his home which was really kind.

This is a true local stay, in a typical old narrow street with friendly local neighbors around you. It's right by the cliff, the beach and plenty of restaurants. The hosts are very attentive, and we kept excellent communication through WhatsApp. They went far and beyond to make sure that I have everything I need and help me with any local knowledge. The studio is small but has everything you need, also all main kitchen appliances and washing machine. The only downside is that since it's ground level and in the narrow street, it's a bit dark. But that's a kind of apartment many locals live in if you live in the city center where the streets are narrow.

I initially had second thoughts about staying on this side of town, but I’m so glad I booked Casa São Gião with Jose — it turned out to be the perfect spot to enjoy Nazaré. The apartment is just steps from Praia da Vila beach and only a short hike up to the famous cliffs, making it an ideal location to catch the sunset every evening. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay in this charming one-bedroom apartment. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable: a fully equipped kitchen, modern beach-inspired décor, fast internet, and thoughtful touches like the complimentary morning coffee from the espresso machine, which my wife especially loved. The apartment was spotless, well-kept, and felt very safe, as did the neighborhood. Another highlight is the abundance of great dining options nearby. One of Nazaré’s top-rated restaurants, Maria do Mar, is literally right across the street, and there are several others within walking distance. The convenience and vibrancy of the location added so much to our stay. Jose was a fantastic host from start to finish. He proactively reached out with clear instructions for the self-check-in process, responded quickly to any questions I had, and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. His communication and hospitality made everything seamless. Overall, Casa São Gião exceeded our expectations, and the location, cleanliness, and thoughtful hosting made our time in Nazaré truly memorable. Thank you, Jose — we would definitely stay again.

We stayed on the ground floor, with the bedroom window at alley level. On busy nights, you can hear people talking as they pass, and on weekends, the bar along the shoreline played loud music until around 2:00 AM. The bass carried through the neighborhood, which made it hard for my wife to sleep until it ended. Aside from that, everything else about our stay was wonderful.

Lovely place, very central, great communication from the hosts. Perfect.

Tudo em geral. casa confortável e acolhedora, muito funcional e prática. bem localizada a 1 minuto a pé de tudo (cafés e restaurantes, da praia e até do elevador para o Sítio ).

Como é uma rua pedonal não se pode descarregar as coisas ao pé de casa. mas tem um largo a 1 minutos a pé da casa.

L appartamento è un vero gioiello. Piccolo ma arredato benissimo e con tutti i confort presenti (compresa l aria condizionata che non è comune trovare sempre qui). Pulizia magistrale, doppio cambio di asciugamani e cucina ben attrezzata. Wifi eccellente (anche per streaming video) e presenza di lavatrice Whirlpool (manca uno stendino, sebbene si possa stendere in strada, abbiamo preferito avvalerci delle asciugatrici presenti in un laundry a gettone a 50 metri dall appartamento. La posizione è ottimale , a pochi passi dalla zona nord della spiaggia sur, spiaggia enorme ben attrezzata (tra l altro l appartamento fornisce anche ombrellone e paravento per recarsi in spiaggia). Consigliatissimo.

Purtroppo trovandosi in pieno centro storico, abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare l auto lontano. Con un po' di stratagemmi e manovrei però si riesce ad arrivare abbastanza vicini al vicolo per poter almeno caricare i bagagli

Très agréable, proche de la plage et de toutes commodités.
