Great place and people, I totally recommend it 👍

Easy to find, short walk from the Rede Expresso bus stop, clean, comfortable, everything I needed for a three night stay. It's at the end of a slightly busy street, but traffic noise was not a problem (my unit was set back from the street, and I preferred to not be in the middle of town. The funicular lift to Sitio, the village where the Farol is, where everyone goes to see the surf, is closed for construction. This place is only a three minute walk from the Mercado, where you can catch the substitue bus to get up the "hill." Big plus.

This is a really minor bother that probably annoys only me. Electricity in Portugal is expensive, I live here so I know, and everyone has LED lamps, which is great. But many people, including here, use the cold blue daylight color temperature bulbs, which I can't stand. I just find them sterile and uninviting, and not relaxing. I'd replace them with 2800K warm white lamps, like I did in my apartment. Fortunately, the light over the stove was warm white, so I used that mostly.

Bright, spacious apartment close to beach (5min walk), restaurant and cafe next door. Parking on the street or there is a big parking lot close to the house. Hot water. Good for short stay

Some more hangers in the hallway and rooms would be fine :) also basic things like sugar or salt. Very squeaky beds.
