"Quiet location and a very comfortable cottage."

Excellent location, quiet and very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. We were golfing in the area and we had the choice of at least 8 clubs within a 15 mile radius. There is so much history in the area including Newtyle itself. A visit to Glamis Castle is a must.

"Exceptional"

Railway Cottage, situated at the end of a short private drive, half a mile to the south east of the sleepy village of Newtyle, provided an excellent base for exploring Angus, Dundee and the Tayside region. The spotlessly clean, well decorated and exceptionally well appointed 3 bedroom cottage had all the amenities and more needed to make our stay special. Our host Karen was most charming with excellent communication throughout our stay, offering helpful suggestions on places to visit and things to do as well as recommending the finest bridies to be had in Forfar. (Saddlers and McLarens) With adequate off road parking and excellent wifi in all areas we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this highly recommended cottage.

Beautiful, cozy cottage in a peaceful location. Spotlessly clean, well presented with everything we needed for our stay. Owner was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Perfect for our family to relax and enjoy our break.

"Fabulous!"

Perfect for 2 couples. Beautifully thought out and designed cottage. Kitchen well equipped. We did some cooking and some eating out. Can't walk to any restaurants, but not far to drive to the fabulous Ardler Tavern or Lime Tree Indian! Did some walking and played lots of golf!!

"Railway Cottage a must place to stay!"

The whole cottage was a joy

Nothing. A very minor thing I have an electric shaver and needed to charge it but there is no charge point.
