West Ridge Bungalow

The musty smell was awful just so over powering. No internet everywhere as stated, only 8.21 M/bs & only available inside kitchen. Spoilt our holiday as we could not even sit outside the kitchen window & use an iPad. Furniture very old, uncomfortable & very outdated the uncomfortable the couch or single old armchairs to watch tv ( couch does not face tv) not very romantic. Not a single carpet , all flooring is carpet tiles which is not very comfortable underfoot , especially in the bedroom. 2 mattresses joined together with 2 single duvets does not a double/kingsize bed make , There is no washing machine in the property (Sykes & Booking.com listings says there is) Towels need replacing , they are hard and rough. An Old TV with no HD. Or internet for iPlayer . Very poor quality. Stunning location with large garden and paddock to use at rear, owner met us in when we arrived , she was very friendly and helpful. There seemed to be notices everywhere , telling us not to do this or make sure we do that . If the heater in the bathroom is a potential fire hazard if left on , it should be removed ? This may sound very grumpy but is is not , just hugely disappointed As it was not a bargain price It was clean throughout but the horrible smell of mustiness that you just cannot get rid of. Is Unfortunately the reasons we would Not stay again or recommend. We even left a day early as had enough. Need some TLC

The accommodation was excellent, in amazing surrounding garden and grounds. Our dog enjoyed running around the huge field area at the back of the garden and the views are stunning. The host was very welcoming and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We will definitely be returning.
