VILLA AZZURRA beachfront Mondello - Palermo

Very pretty location and villa, we really enjoyed our time here. Stefano (host) went out of his way to ensure that we had the most enjoyable stay. His amazing work is displayed throughout the rooms, as he specialises in ceramics. I would recommend this to anyone looking for taste of Italy.

It was misleading from the beginning. The property was advertised as an entire house, so we were amazed when we were met with a damp, ground level apartment with little sunlight whilst the host relished in a beautiful view on the top floor, forcing us to stare at tall hedges, further hindering sunlight from reaching our partially subterranean den. Our disappointment further grew when we saw the absolutely abhorrent parking for the residence; a singular spot which we were forced to share with the vendors family. It was incredibly inconvenient. Our brand new car ended the stay with bent front passenger door due to the owner’s incompetence, who then had the audacity to say that he knew nothing of the damage that he and his family had inflicted. This horrendous experience ruined our trip, I would never recommend this place to anybody.

The Villa was absolutely located in the most beautiful spot of Mondello beach and the standard of the Villa was very high

We liked everything! From location to facilities

The location was great right across the street from the beautiful waters of Mondello beach. The owner Stefano was very nice and thorough during our check in. He was also very attentive to a couple small issues we had. The villa is well equipped for cooking and dishes and is spacious.

The one improvement could be the investment of a better hot water tank. For 2 people it was fine but could be an issue for 4 people.

The location is amazing and the villa is gorgus. Stephano is lovely and we managed to communicate fairly well with broken English and just about non existant Italian. Was always on hand to answer questions. I would highly recommend Villa AZZURRA.

There's not very much we didn't like, only a couple of very small points. The hot water doesn't last very long if you want showers or a bath, especially if there are a few people staying. No biggie, just need to spread the timing. I didn't realise stephano stayed in the apartment above us, we were on the ground floor. I thought we had the whole villa and was looking forward to views from top balcony. Again, wasn't a big deal though.
