This is our 3rd visit to batch . I know it's been damp but the smell was bad of dampness maybe air freshness ,bulbs in bedside lamps out and hand towels and flannels just thrown in sink.you have a have a lot of ants too

The view is amazing. There is a good selection of games for when the weather is not good. I think if you like a fancy coffee maker, you will love this place.

The driveway is a bit scary the first couple of times, you turn right and go step done on a bend in the road. We had to move stuff around in the kitchen to make way for our groceries because there was no spare cupboard space. We couldn't unpack our stuff because the only bedroom storage available is a small bookshelf.

The view was amazing!!! Owner was helpful and informative.

A little outdated but that's the charm

The views!!!!! Each window shows a different part of the ocean, mountains and estuary, and the pictures are ever changing depending on the tides and the weather. Very magical! We made good use of the deck, watching beautiful sunsets over the mountain with pink skies and shimmering reflections in the water. Later we enjoyed the stars. I think this was a perfect spot to get a good taste of New Zealand - both the scenery and the people. We didn't have a car so we were glad that the 250 meter walk up the hill wasn't strenuous. And the lovely lady who takes care of the place offered to drive us, so we didn't feel stranded in case of an urgent need. We are used to hills where we live. There are steps up to the summit of Mount Paku and being at this place, you're half way there. We enjoyed walking to the left of the marina to a beach area and then continued to a walkway and stairway to circle back to the Bach We saw the thundering ocean waves on the other side of the peninsula when we walked to Hemi Place and took the beach access.

Amazing property, great location and the view can't be beat. Very homely and hosts are very communicative.

The view was breathtaking, we sat for hours just watching the waves and the clouds from the deck - and wow the sunset was incredible. We felt very blessed to stay here. The house is lovely, was super clean and the decor is cute as - it was comfortable and welcoming, we really felt we were at home. You can tell this place is loved by the owners, it has a wonderful feel. The coffee machine was a bonus, and the outdoor shower was fun! We were so sad to leave! What an incredible spot this is, highly recommend.
