"Perfect for what we needed"

8.0

Loads of space, very clean. Footpath leading to Lyme Regis just by the property with bus stop at the end of the road. Had everything we needed.

Be aware that some of the slaps around the garden are loose, and you do have to park at the bottom of the garden so not immediately by the house, possibly an issue if you have mobility issues.

"Our otherwise comfortable stay was spoilt by the lack of suitable bedding for the summer months. The owners need to prov"

5.0

Spacious, well equipped private property with large gardens.

The old 13.5 tog ‘arctic’ duvets on the single beds in the twin room were totally unsuitable for the summer weather and meant we were far too hot overnight, even with the windows open. The two blankets found in the cupboard, one for each bed, were not adequate replacements. For the amount of money charged, there should be 4.5 tog duvets supplied for the warmer summer months. Unfortunately nothing was done to help us with this problem when I telephoned the agency, Sykes Holidays. We were expecting 2 replacement duvets and no one came. Access to the property is steep, up steps and via a long garden path. Parking is available on the roadside a good distance from the property so luggage and provisions have to be carried a long way. This is not made clear on the booking details.
