"Be advised: this property is actually two separate units under one roof. Good location though."

6.0

Conveniently located close to Ouray, Ridgeway State Park, and 1 hour from Talluride. Great view, situated up the mountain a bit. Cozy / quaint "vintage decor" made us nostalgic for the family cabins we experienced as children.

Be aware: this property is actually TWO separate units but listed as one: one unit with one bedroom, a living area with daybed/trundle, kitchen, and bathroom; the second property (under the same roof) has one bedroom, one bathroom, and an "efficiency kitchen." Here's the catch - you have to exit one property and walk OUTSIDE to get to the other property. This was NOT disclosed on the property listing which is very misleading. Both units are fine on their own, but for a family of five, you are separated by a wall which is inconvenient and awkward. We were very disappointed when we figured it out but got over it and made the best of it. Also, there is no air conditioning in this property. Several fans are provided which we put in the windows at night. Still it was still around 80 degrees in the main unit overnight and very uncomfortable on those high 80s low 90s days.

"Perfect cabin for a ranching couple in need of a getaway before hay season!"

10.0

We loved the location: close to Ouray and Ridgway, but still private and quiet. The cabin was very clean with all the necessities easy to find. Great linens and comfy bed. The mountain view from the master bedroom was amazing to wake up to every morning for coffee in bed.

Nothing! The value for the price was perfect for us.

Nothing

It was being worked on when we arrived. Dust was on all flat surfaces. Cobwebs in the windows. I have pictures

"We loved our overnight stay and would consider it again."

Really awesome location for an amazing view! The night time view of the solar system was something I haven't seen in a long time. The daytime view of the peaks behind the hills, is breath taking.

It's not a big deal but, there's a lamp that doesn't work, and a burnt light bulb in another spot.
