The complimentary bottle of wine was fantastic. The view is fantastic

Access to the room is long and steep. The ladder to the bed area is dangerous. The steps to the roof top is dangerous. The bedroom ceiling is very low. I had to crough all the way in and out of bed.

"An authentic experience of a long ago Portugal (with modern amenities)"

Such an authentic Portuguese experience. Aljezur is a stunning town particularly the old city. To be in a home just below the ruins of the castle was incredible. The renovation (bathroom, kitchen, etc) is well done while still keeping the charm of the home. The area is easily accessible to the Fisherman’s Trail, restaurants and coffee shops. The washing machine is also a bonus. Thank you for a lovely night. Sorry we weren’t staying longer.

The steep road up was not an issue for us but could be difficult for some. The same with the ladder to the loft beds.

It is a beautiful cosy house near the castle, the space is tiny but well equiped with all you need. The house is newly renovated and stylishly furnished. The terrase is a fine place to spend quiet evenings …. Thank you for the welcoming basket and for the overall communication!
