Rowan Lodge with Hot Tub

The lodge was really well-equipped. The basket if teas, coffees etc.. was useful and very much appreciated. Great having a dishwasher with tablets to use as well. Extra points for that! Good quality bed linen and towels, and that was spotlessly clean. Spacious lounge/dining/kitchen with cosy and tasteful furniture and soft furnishings. Useful parking space at the lodge and not too far to walk to reception for the other car of our group. The hot tub was fabulous, really clean and very welcome to relax in after a busy week at work! Lovely outdoor furniture that we couldn't take full advantage of due to the weather.

The reception wasn't open when we arrived, so we had to wait for another park resident to open the barrier for us. The lodge was great, but there was some mould/mildew in the en-suite bathroom and cobwebs in some of the corners. A bin in the family bathroom would have been useful. There is a washing machine at the lodge which wedding need to use, but nowhere to dry laundry or towels apart from a small airer.

Beautiful spacious lodge very clean perfect location Wi-Fi was good hot tub nice would definitely go back :)

Double bed was a little uncomfortable nothing a thick mattress topper wouldn’t sort out :)

No map attached to the email and trying to find the lodge in the dark without any signage was difficult. No heating for the first night - slept badly due to being cold, two mattresses needed replacing so three teenagers ended up sharing the sofa bed, one toilet not cleaned (very dirty) and only one loo roll for two toilets. One mattress replaced for our second night and the heating was sorted, man on site was helpful but it wasn’t a good start.

Great location for day trips. We did Flamingo Land, Go Ape, Scarborough
