The Shore @ BaíaBeach - Waterfront

We LOVED that it was RIGHT by the ocean! We were able to walk right out our door; sit on the wall overlooking the ocean; and watch the sunset every day after out Portugal adventures!

It’s so perfect that everyplace we stay from now on will be just ok.

Het appartement was helemaal in strandstijl. Er was aan alles gedacht. Het was mooi en hygiënisch.

Schönes kleines Haus an perfekter Lage, nur durch die Strandpromenade vom Meer und schönen Strand getrennt. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Wahnsinns Ausblick aufs Meer vom Wohnzimmer aus! Viele Bars, Bäckereien und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bahnhof gleich um die Ecke. Surfschule im Gebäudekomplex. Sehr ruhiger Ort (im September). Meer sehr kalt, schnell abfallend und starke Wellen, wahrscheinlich weniger geeignet für kleine Kinder. Zum Surfen ein Paradies :-)

Die Einzelbetten waren für unseren Geschmack nicht für Erwachsene geeignet, eher für Kinder. Abfluss im Bad hat zeitweise stark gerochen.

The accommodation is really great. Up on the first floor and on the promenade right on the sea shore. Beautiful sea breeze and sunsets to watch every night. 2 really comfortable bedrooms and 2 lovely bathrooms. Very well equipped and lovely but you won't even notice it because your eyes are always on the waves and the surfers that you can see through the large windows. Espinho is a lovely seaside town with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. And of course great pastries and ice creams. Miles of golden beach but good to know that this is the atlantic and so the water is cold and the waves can be really high. Perfect if you want to try surfing. . there are surf schools on the beach. The train station is a 5 min walk from the apartment, and Porto is only half an hour away, and it is gorgeous. The communication with the host was really clear with loads of helpful info. We had a great stay.

Everything. We highly recommend this superb accommodation: its excellent location and most tastefully decorated interior is a must for any family looking to relax and unwind, while also having ample opportunity to engage in outdoor activity. The Shore has a delightful beach house vibe: the moment we opened the door we knew this holiday was going to go beyond our expectations. We were greeted by a gorgeously tiled hallway and stairs, which led us to our main living and sleeping area- the attention to detail in the decor is most attractive. The winning feature for us was the 3 large windows/door providing a stunning view of the magnificent sea and beach:even when we were not physically on the beach,it felt like we were. There is a really comfortable couch bed in the living area which was ideal for relaxing on while admiring the breathtaking vista. There is a restaurant right outside the door of this accommodation and while it could be busy,we were never disturbed at night with noise. The location is excellent - a few steps from the beach, the shops, restaurants and cafes… as a busy family with varying needs and wants, it was the convenience of reaching these amenities which made our holiday so enjoyable- we could change plans at a moment’s notice and it didn’t upset anyone or anything. Hosts Elisa and Mafalda were most attentive and helpful if we needed anything. We simply cannot wait to return to this paradise. One of our best holidays yet.

Beautiful apartment, decorated with great attention to detail. We felt at home, and would strongly recommend a stay! The location is breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed the view.
