Great experience to spend time in the cave house. It is very spacious, great shower and good kitchen outside is a great terrace with views. Lovley area easy to travel to by car but there are also buses. Easy to visit other areas of Tenerife by car.

As previously stated the drive is steep but this is usual in the mountains.

The little house is tastefully decorated and despite the size it's really quite comfortable. The owner Miguel and his dad Jose are very friendly and welcoming, they definitely made us feel at home (Jose showed us everything in the garden and even let us try some fresh fruit!). Next time we come to Tenerife, we will gladly stay in La Pajara / Guimar again, but perhaps this time in the other house that belongs to Miguel and is in a real/natural cave - the one we stayed in (right next to the "casa cueva") is a little more "standard" ;)

Great atmosphere! Nice host. Host cooked dinner upon request for 25€ per person, which was fantastic.

A dishwasher is missing, but this was clear based on the description

Hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating during the entirety of our stay. The place was perfect for 2 days for 2 people!

The hot water in the shower only lasted about 3 minutes.

It was a really nice house and the host was very welcoming and kind. Everything was clean and fresh. The place had a nice and calm atmosphere.

It did not look exactly as the pictures. I think there was two different houses where the one on the pictures was the other one and bigger. Although this house was also really nice and comfy. The road up to get there was a bit steep, long and narrow roads which was a bit scary during the dark, but quality of the roads were good.

One of the best places I have ever stayed! The cave was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm, and had everything you could need for a lovely stay. Miguel was one of the nicest people you could ever meet and cooked us a fantastic BBQ which was so delicious that we had it again the next night. We loved our stay.

The mattress was a bit to soft for us.

Very unique and great value for money. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Friendly host, good communications and instructions. The drive from airport is fast & simple, the last 30m is not as bad some reviews make it sound (done narrower and steeper ones in Canaries before)

Cosy (in December) and quirky place to stay. It is quiet sleeping in the cave! The bedroom itself is spacious and there is a hanging rail for clothes. The host doesn't speak much English but it is better than my Spanish! He was very welcoming and lives next door. The cave is very clean. There isn't much space to cook but with two hobs and a microwave we cooked at home both nights. The shower is good. There is a little bar at the bottom of the drive. The pyramids and outdoor museum in Guimar is well worth a visit and it is nice walking around the area. One route driving up to the cave is super steep, we only just managed it in first gear! Try to go via the road through Guimar instead. Guimar itself is nice, we had a lovely lunch on the square pondering the historic volcanic activity of the island.

There is a steep route up to the road where the cave house is unless you go via Guimar. There is also a steep drive up to the cave itself. There are things to do but you need a car here. We had a lovely couple of nights here.
