"Modern and cosy stay! Great for groups/families!"

10.0

Property is exactly as pictured and very clean and cozy. Absolutely love the hotel-quality bedding and towels, made the stay feel so luxurious and great value for money. Although located at the port where there might not be as many activities, it is reasonably close to many attractions like Clacton Pier and Essex. Everyone in my family kept saying they would miss the place once we left and honestly we do! The games available also made the nights we spent more fun for us! Would love to stay again! Definitely highly recommend it!

I have nothing negative i could say about this place! Great stay!

"Great venue, couldn’t fault the accommodation or the service."

9.0

Great venue, parking, well equipped and very comfy

More capacity to recycle, the bins were too small and were already quite full when we arrived. Very minor point but we like to recycle all of our rubbish.

Was a very cosy and amazing house a hidden gem in Harwich looking forward to staying here again

Parking suitability but that's not the hosts fault you have one parking spot on the side of the house

"Very poor"

2.0

My husband and I recently stayed at Juniper House and were disappointed. Knowing how difficult life has been with Covid, rather than make negative comments on social media I wanted to let you know our thoughts personally. The cleanliness of the house was well below expectations. As previously reported, the bedside drawers contained an empty beer bottle and crisp packet, and in another bedroom dirty tissues. The dining table is incredibly sticky and the cupboard shelves covered with sauce and condiment remnants. Further, the fans are all dirty. Given Covid these are all serious infection concerns and suggest that Covid cleaning was not done. Thank you for sorting out the lack of hot water and heating but we didn't enjoy the cold showers. When we arrived the heating was on 26 and the windows open. We turned the thermostat down and closed the windows. It appears that the previous guests or cleaners may have played with the control panel, and from what you said this isn’t the first time. May I suggest you lock that cupboard? The blinds do not work in all the bedrooms. The fridge never really became cold and I was concerned about placing meats in it. The lounge cushions are sadly flat and clock not working. Overall, a feeling of neglect. Whilst I appreciate that you cannot control your neighbours, their smoking in the garden after midnight was noisy not helped by them feeding the birds with trays of scrap food so we were woken to screeching gulls and pigeons. In comparison to your competition, the house was below expectations. Whilst you don’t offer a welcome pack, which many do, some milk, oil, butter would have been nice. Others provided these, juice, cookies, bread and croissants. Milk is an essential especially when arriving later with no shops open. Paul, I hope you take this as a constructive critique and have a thriving business.

"Lovely house but parking was difficult"

8.0

The property was nicely maintained and clean, very comfortable.

The parking was one tiny space and very difficult to get in and out of, no street parking either

The apartment beautiful and very clean and the host was very helpful and replied on time.

Check out was too early. Usually check out is at 11pm. Unfortunately for this apartment it was 10pm
