Curragh House Lodges

A beautifully presented and decorated property - very stylish, with a gallery bedroom and comfortable beds.

There was a lack of storage and hanging space for clothes - we had to live out of our suitcases, and without a chest of drawers, there was a lack of surfaces for hairbrushes and other oddments. Having the only bathroom & wc downstairs was a minor incovenience in the middle of the night.

Country setting with horses (no lamas to be found) but cows aplenty. The walking on the proper was calming. The lodging was spacious (loft setting) beautiful views out the bedroom & kitchen windows, heating was fine. Property was ready and well equipped.

No personal contact but texting took place.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was a nice escape from the villages and cities. Beautiful walks right outside your doorway. Felt safe and felt like we could spread out and relax. Also feel very luxurious at the same time.

Beautiful location just a short drive from Cork City, Cork Airport and Kinsale which was perfect for us. The lodge is beautiful and peaceful. Veronica was so welcoming and kind and I really appreciated the welcome package treats upon our arrival that was a very sweet gesture! Cannot wait to visit again!

The setting was very peaceful. Apartment was spotless and well equipped.

The location is perfect. A tranquil place that is not too far from the town. The whole ambience of the place exudes comfort, simplicity and mindfulness.
