The common area is quite spacious, able to sit together to have snacks and drinks.

No washing machine.

This accommodation was absolutely perfect in every way. I cannot think of any ways to improve it. The house is very large, and would suit a large group. Multiple showers and toilets, a full kitchen and dining room. On site parking, and everything was absolutely spotlessly clean. Our host was amazingly kind and welcoming, and offered great advice about our stay in Kitsuki and our visits to surrounding areas. If I ever return to North-East Kyushu again I will stay here again. Nothing at all. You need a car (or rely on taxis) if you want to stay here, but with a car this is a perfect base for exploring North-East Kyushu.

Accommodation that makes you appreciate the generous heart of the owner. The moment you visit here, you are a happy person.

The property was spacious and host was super responsive. We had a great time!

Super great value for the money. The super nice owner met us just after we arrived by taxi from the train station and took us back to the station at checkout. Clean house, very good beds in the twin room, very quiet at night except for one loud motorcycle going by each night. Close enough to the castle and samurai village area. The view of Kitsuki castle at night was nice! A bit of a walk across the new bridge to reach the convenience store but not too bad, and it’s a great view along the river. Fabulous lunch at the historic house without an entry fee, across the street from the public rest rooms. This is a very scenic town that only needs more visitors!

I loved the atmosphere of the city, the tiny castle, the good restaurants. I didn't have much time so I hope to come back next year and wear kimono ! I enjoyed the feeling of being at home in the guesthouse with the little garden in the back. It's very neat. And the owner of the guesthouse is incredibly nice.

Nice guesthouse - all the better for it being jut us. Kind and attentive owner who went out of his way to help us enjoy the property and the town. Nice common area and kitchen.

The pin on google maps was a little off where it really is (by one street) - I am sure the owner has fixed this by now.
