"Perfect place for a peaceful and restful stay"

10.0

A lovely cosy cottage that was perfect for me and my two dogs. In stunning grounds and countryside....And the walks close by were great. Both myself and the dogs really enjoyed them....Didnt see a soul! So quiet and peaceful.

Nothing to do with the cottage but didnt like the tics on the dogs when we walked. Make sure your dogs tic treatment is up to date.

"probably one of the best self catering holidays we have had"

10.0

The house was exceptionally clean, cosy and comfortable. The outdoor space for sitting out was sheltered and private, with connection to the forest and very well tended grass. A place worth returning to i the future. The hosts were excellent as well,

I didn.t like the fact that I only booked 4 nights, It rained a bit, and I hadn't brought my waterproof boots. Will know better next time

"Lovely week at Foxglove Cottage"

9.0

Lovely location and grounds. Cottage was suitable for our needs and enjoyed our stay. Good value for money

Was slightly smaller than expected although for the price it was worth it. I understand doors have to close due to fire regulations but having a dog an toddler it wasnt ideal in that respect although we did enjoy our stay and would recommend

Beautiful location with playbacks, pond on your doorstep to explore. Fantastic for children plenty outdoor space. Nice addition to the livingroom of board games and books. A brilliant information pack provided within the cottage. A lovely added extra of a coffee pod machine to go with the borders biscuits.

"Good"

7.0

Lovely setting on a nice estate with great views. Friendly, welcoming owner. Overall very clean. Good value for money.

Bathroom and kitchen both a bit tired/dated. Bathroom sink and shower both drain very slowly, and a slightly foisty smell in the kitchen but not sure where this came from. Both rooms very clean though. I think the lower price of this accommodation compared to others probably reflects this. Every door is a fire door and these slam quite loudly - possibly the closers need adjustment.

"A pretty cottage in a peaceful and stunning environment"

8.0

Gorgeous location. Quiet and very pretty. A cosy and well equipped cottage. Good information was provided, including a village walking route map. Well furnished and pleasant to be in. Better than I expected given a reasonable price.

"Pleasant"

6.0

the peace and tranquility and hearing the dawn chorus.

The closing hinges on the doors were very fearce, not much space to move around the bed and some of the kitchen appliances are beginning to look a bit tired.
