Location was ideal for us. Quick walk into Matlock itself with lots to see and do. There were plenty of cafes and pubs to sample the local beers. Also quick links to the motorways. There was a decorated Christmas tree and lights when we arrived which was lovely. We had ordered the logs so had a log fire on Christmas Day while we ate our dinner prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, resulting in a very lovely day and stay.

The drive way although we drove in once in the parking space getting out we had to wait for next door to move the car to be able to turnaround, street parking was available 2 min walk on side street so would have parked here. Cellar bedroom EPA’s lovely and fine fir us but I book cottages for people though work and this nir being known to have bedrooms two floors apart would have been a problem but fir our stay was fine.
