"Nice place to stay as a base to visit Bakewell and surrounding area."

Such a lovely cottage in a great location. I met the owner who was also lovely. Huge comfortable beds. The house was spotless too. We had a wonderful stay

"Excellent cottage, nice and clean and great host."

Ideal location, near pubs and shops. Property was nice and clean and the host was excellent.

The only downside was the very steep hill it’s on but this is mentioned in the listing. We just didn’t appreciate how steep it would be and the parking is tight.
