"Premium property in a unique location, for very good on your feet individuals :)"

Where to start - an amazing property in an amazing location. The cottage has private access to the beach (which is stunning), it had a real charm about it - i.e. you know that cosy feeling that is hard to replicate. It also combined modern features with some quirky (but stylish) design choices. We stayed a week during Christmas with 7 adults and a dog and (if we had the money) would happily return. The master bedroom was HUGE with a wonderful en-suite. We loved meeting the local people who help you move in/out and also turns out they take care of the IMMACULATE gardens. The garden can be mostly closed so for those with dogs you can just let them out when they need to (you know what i mean). The kitchen was well provided and had all the amenities. The dishwasher did break but with 7 people there was never going to be much use of it anyway. You can see someone spent a lot of money converting it from a fisherman/person cottage to a warm cosy nest. Everything that was there was a high quality in and in good 'nick'. Premium in that sense :).

1) When we looked at the pictures we thought we could easily put an adult in the bunkbed room but that really is just for kids - we managed and considered it an 'adventure' but seeing the price those should not be classed as full on adult rooms. The lack of comfy seating for more than 5 also indicate this would be amazing for around 5 - 6 adults but 7 was a stretch too far. Note we had 2 more senior folk with us - perhaps less of an issue if you are 30 somethings. 2) The property felt like it hadn't been rented out for awhile as the first day / night it felt cold and a bit damp. Once we turned up the excellent heated flooring and turned on the fireplace this went away although most rooms felt a bit damp throughout - perhaps the time of year - i.e. I'm sure in summer this is a non-issue. Also dust etc had settled which was noticed (we usually rent from Landmark trust and good lucking finding any dust particles). 3) Lack of towels - not sure 1 (Large and comfy) towel for a given week is appropriate for this type of property - honestly a basic B&B offer 3 towels even for just one night - this should be an easy and needed fix - especially in summer as people might go for surf or swims. 4) Weird recycling - although it stated you can just dump everything into the bin this felt so wrong in such a beautiful natural place so we ended up sorting it ourselves. We honestly didn't think someone would sort mixed garbage these days in the UK. 5) Access to the property (and beach) is STEEP - we had warnings you need good footware for walking on sandy but our 2 more seniors found it very had to get to and get out of the property - you really need to be in a decent shape. In the end we setup a mini taxi service to Sennen Cove Town so they could walk down but not having to walk up. Again this might have been made clearer - though it naturally also adds charm and if sturdy on foot - not an issue. 6) We found the comms with the management company not...
