The property is located in a breathtaking scenery of small rolling hills and farmland but still super near to the coast. With just a few rooms, the structure offers an incredible amount of high level services, such as a beautiful pool, gardens to explore, sauna and jacuzzi to be enjoyed while keeping a sense of privacy and seclusion more unique than rare. To complete this beautiful description, Marc, Lizzy and their daughter were amazing hosts: friendly, welcoming, able to ensure that our stay had everything we needed while being non intrusive at all. We would totally recommend Casa Paz for anyone who is looking for a relaxed oasis of nature and beauty while still being close enough to the small town of Tavira.

Mark & Lizzie are made for hospitality. Having come from a background in restaurant ownership they provide a professional approach mixed with their warm welcoming personal touch. We will never forget our beautiful stay at Casa Paz. The pool is perfect for cooling off in. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Showers excellent. Breakfast is outstanding with more than enough to eat and great coffee. We stayed three nights it would be easy to stay longer..

Nothing. Just be aware if coming from the Spanish border direction google will want to take you over hills & narrow roads. Its best to access via the M508 passing through the small town of Fonte Salgada on the way.

Absolute heaven! Extremely relaxing, peaceful place to stay and enjoy the beautiful location, house and grounds. Casa Paz is full of character, art and beauty. Creative and playful touches all around. Hot tubs under the stars, gorgeous salt pool and the best of hosts! Mark, Lizzie and Lucy looked after us so well. Lovely, laid back approach but also very friendly, kind and helpful.

We were there in a heatwave and air con would’ve really helped. There are plans to install it soon.

The spleen of the rural place & kindness of the owner

This was hands down one of our favourite properties we’ve ever stayed in! The location is amazing despite some other reviews re it being a bit remote; that is entirely it’s charm; it is so peaceful and quiet with the most beautiful views and nature around, it felt a bit like a retreat but then it’s under 10 mins to the main town, so it’s a real win win! The rooms were perfect super clean, great facilities and personal touches like portable speakers and interesting books and wine glasses etc. excellent design and taste throughout lots of cool quirks and interiors around the place. Such excellent hosts Mark and Liz are awesome and are as involved or not as you wish, they organised massages for us on the terrace, and helped us set up a BBQ when we got stuck and made gorgeous breakfast and coffee each morning but then we didn’t see them for days too! The pool was a real highlight it is so beautiful and you look out over the hills and trees, it’s a very very special place and we will be back 100%. I think it is strange that it is only 3 star, I think the price will soon go up as will the ranking, so get in whilst you can! Thank you for the most special stay!

Single only improvement was we had a Dyson fan instead of AC in the room and it was a bit hot, but otherwise nothing else at all could have been improved!

The casa paz combines tradition, comfort, warmth and a unique hospitality. Mark and Lizzy create a family atmosphere and are infectious with their positive, enthusiastic manner. A place for those seeking tranquillity, where magic is in the air. A Portuguese paradise where the little things take on an unexpected significance. Whether it's a lovingly prepared breakfast with a view or a swim under the stars - we loved escaping the daily grind at Casa Paz. Thank you for everything!

Casa Pas Tavira is an exceptional place to stay. Nestled in the hills, a ten minutes drive from the beautiful town of Tavira, Casa Paz Tavira is a great place to explore this part of the region. We loved being able to relax by the salt water pool, the communal places to sit and enjoy the stunning views as well as relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the valley. The two bed roomed cottage which we rented is exquisite. It's beautifully decorated, with great attention to colour, light and detail and is self catering. Mark and Liz, the hosts made the holiday for us. They recommended amazing places to eat and visit during our stay and were both utterly charming. Thank you, we will be back.
