Jerry met us on arrival after picking up hire car from Split airport as major roadworks would have given the satnav a meltdown. Above and beyond service. The apartment is minutes from the nearest supermarket, fresh veg and fruit market and most importantly, Trogir old town and quayside. Incredible choice of restaurants to fit all budgets. The best experience we had was at Piccolo Ponte. Perfect food, ambiance and superb value. Biggest let down was the highly rated Don Dino. Looks great, delivers average. Parking adjacent to the home down a flight of steps. Off the main road and safe. Beautiful entrance to the apartment through gardens and plantings. The property was ultra clean with all modern, working utensils. Huge terrace that we used every day for any meals, night and day, not overlooked. Table can seat six comfortably with soft or bright lighting for evenings.

I would have given the the apartment 10/10 except for two issues. 1. Unable to lock the rear patio door without massive fiddling about. It should be a lock and key but not. Despite Jerry's insistence that the area is virtually crime free, we bring our own experiences from home and personally I like to lock up securely before leaving. 2. If the garden area adjacent to the terrace could be made into a sun deck then the home would be perfect. It's just an area of loose chippings surrounded by beautiful plants and always in sun. A small job to transform the garden.

The booking process and communication with the owners throughout our stay was superb. Fabulous house in an area just a couple of minutes walk from the market and local shops. The main centre of Trogir was just a further 5 minutes. Trogir itself is stunning. Thank you Gerry and family for all your help and for allowing the half of our family with a later flight use the house up until late afternoon. Very kind.
