Mountain Vista Retreat - Apartment 1

Nice to have a whole apartment. Clean, spacious enough for two people.

Sheets are very loud and scratchy. Not soft at all. Not at all flexible in check in time. Had to sit in the street for 15 minutes until exactly 3 as they would not allow early entry. But then asked us to leave before check out to accommodate them. It would be nice if it worked both ways.

Perfect location to stay for the Mount Cook NP! It's super quiet, it's got all you need, even a washing maschine and it's very tastefully furnitured to make you feel comfortable very easily. One of our best stays in NZ South Island!

The bathroom lacks space to put some things there. But that's complaining on very high level!

Thought bathroom extractor could do with a clean

There was plenty of room for 2 people. We enjoyed being able to prepare our own meals. The instructions throughout the apartment were easy to understand. The washer and dryer rack were a welcome surprise.

A larger pot in the kitchen to make pasta would have been nice.

Very quiet, modern and comfortable. Very well maintained and clean. Easy parking.

Big kitchen and nice bedroom, quiet area.

Absolutely no shelf space in the bathroom and tricky living room setup (sofas too close to the TV to comfortably sit there and watch sth together). The kitchen wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived and also the Basic equipment in the kitchen wasn't great (very little dishwashing soap and washing powder, no oil etc) which when you're only staying there for a couple of days is super annoying - we ended up buying everything but couldn't take it with us. I didn't like the communication of the owner/host. They ask you to put the garbage bins on the street on Sundays and in general had A LOT of requirements while (in my opinion) being nothing better than average with their facilities. I've rented Airbnb's for less money and much more value.
