Secret City Courtyard Cottage Within Chester City Walls

Locatie echt heel dicht bij het centrum. Keuken was niet heel groot, maar wel alles aanwezig wat je nodig had. Kamers waren niet heel ruim maar prima.

Parkeergelegenheid was wat ver van het huisje. Het was ook even zoeken voor we hadden uitgevogeld waar we precies moesten zijn.

Great location for exploring the city. Beautifully decorated and kitchen and bathroom well-fitted with everything we could need.

No information on location or access provided prior to arrival. That’s a bit stressful. Settees uncomfortable. Bathroom downstairs not ideal for older people who often need it during the night. The advertised on-street parking wasn’t available.

Really central close to everything that we needed. Good facilities.

It was difficult to find to start but once we found it easy to get to and fro from.

Beds not the comfiest is our only complaint and quite loud in the morning in the courtyard with terriers barking.

The location is the number one reason to stay here, a short walk from the centre and the river, set in a courtyard of other cottages hidden away off a main street. The cottage is attractively cute , quite twee and well equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery etc. It is a great place for a short stay!

Steep stairs up to the bedrooms and the one bathroom (and toilet) downstairs which was inconvenient. The double-bedded room is small and has no room for a side light or bedside table. Conversely the twin-bedded room has lots of room for both and a tv so the teenagers were very happy!

Ideal location. Kate, the host was very helpful allowing us to drop our bags off early at the property and responding promptly to any queries. Would stay here again.

The key box was difficult to open.

The cottage was bright, clean and tastefully decorated. Good location, close to the river, several pubs and restaurants

Modern, clean and comfortable with all amenities and more! Great communication with the owner, with a great information email / text sent on day of arrival, with all you needed to know.
