Lighthouse Cottage

The house is gorgeous. So cute and clean, and really homely. The views are breathtaking, and there is really comfy garden furniture to sit and enjoy the sea and boats going past. The house has everything we needed for a lovely stay. Killybegs is a short walk and the house is a great base for touring Donegal.

Nothing.

We arrived to a absolutely inviting serenity overlooking the sea and daily watched the boats coming and going from the Harbour in Killybegs. The home was comfortable and and exceeded all expectations. T he host were delightful with many suggestions of points of interest. We especially enjoyed our neighboring sheep and horses. A perfect walking neighborhood. We stayed a month and everyday restored our soul.

There was no disappointments

We had a wonderful week in Killybegs. The Cottage was just perfect. We had everything we needed. Caitriona very kindly left us some food to start our morning. There are 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Lots of space. When the kids were watching tv the adults had a quiet moment in the sunroom off the kitchen. There is a washing machine and dryer in a little shed to the side of the property which we could use. The views of the harbour are stunning and we spent some evenings with a glass of wine enjoying watching the boats come and go. Fabulous.

There was nothing to dislike.

It was a great house, the best holiday home we ever stayed in. The host is extraordinary, so very friendly and helpful! She had a fire going for us when we arrived after a long day of travelling, and some food and even an apple pie. The house is very clean, has everything you need (and more), the atmosphere is very comfortable, the view is spectacular, and the location is great to explore Donegal. It has been a perfect stay :-)

Very cozy cottage! The hosts were very hospitable! Panoramic breathtaking view! Very nice fireplace! It is ideal place to escape from the daily routine and enjoy the Beautiful Ireland Nature
