Everything was great. The house is super cozy and well located, near amazing beaches, it has everything we needed for a great vacation. Hélder is an amazing host, he goes the extra mile to make our stay as perfect as it can be. Highly recommended

We have stayed in many places, both in the UK and abroad, over the last 45 years and Heu's Monte is certainly one of the very best. We loved the quiet countryside location. Heu's Monte is perfect for two people - very well equipped, very comfortable and with a very good shower area. We also loved the garden area, with different seating options. Helder is an excellent host - I had very good communication with him via WhatsApp and telephone calls. Heus Monte is filled with Helder's interesting travel mementos - each day I would find something different to look at! The welcome basket was very much appreciated - so generous and thoughtful. We also appreciated the coffee pod machine. Good dining out options nearby. We love coastal walking, and Heu's Monte is well situated for exploring the beautiful Fishermen's Trail. The section from Porto Covo to Forte de Nossa Senhora da Queimada is one of my favourite walks anywhere! Thank you, Helder, for your kindness and friendliness - we hope to stay at Heu's Monte again in the future. Thank you also to Luisa for her work in keeping the house so clean.

Having to leave! The only thing that would make Heu's Monte even better for us would be the addition of 2 sun loungers in the garden.

Due to the bad weather the house was a bit cold and humid.

The house is amazing, the owner Helder is very attentive and always made sure that we were having the best comfort and everything we needed. We really enjoyed it and I'm already thinking of booking again for the summer vacation. It's a very relaxing and quiet place, perfect for disconnecting from the busy and noisy city lifestyle. The house is perfect for a couple and a doggy. We loved all the details provided by the host who knows what a professional & lovely hospitality is. Good quality wine glasses, products from L‘occitane, no linen smelling like washed with cheap washing powder and on and on. Beside that we loved the peaceful area and the big fenced garden for our dog. Perfect home away from home.

Heu’s Monte is truly a paradise of peace and tranquility! The owner, Helder, personally greets you and explains the wonderful features of Heu’s Monte. He is always available to answer any questions and provide recommendations. Helder’s attention to detail and attentiveness ensures that you have everything you need to make your holiday the best it can be. The home is spacious and thoughtfully decorated with modern appliances and a fireplace, should the weather turn chilly. Fire wood, a lighter and fire starters are all provided. The bed is extremely comfortable, giving me the best sleep that I’ve had in a long time. The kitchen has every appliance, dish, utensil and piece of cookware you would need. The garden and yard area have numerous fruit trees, as well as two patio areas which are paved in tile and furnished with an outdoor table, four chairs and two swinging chairs from which you can enjoy the vineyards and views of the Atlantic Ocean on the horizon. The area is completely fenced to allow your pet(s) to enjoy their vacation as much as you enjoy yours! The location is amazing with the Vincentino Vineyard (wine tasting!) next door and a stunning remote beach with cliffs nearby. I highly recommend visiting Zambujeira do Mar - a quaint and beautiful village on a cliff overlooking two beaches and sea cliffs - spectacular! If you crave peace and relaxation, book Heu’s Monte. You will be refreshed and renewed!

All good.lovely decor, interesting items, huge garden for the dog and outdoor furniture.everything you need at hand.Very friendly and attentive host.very comfortable .handy position for us to discover this coastline.

Nothing to dislike

The owner of the place, Hélder, was available and attentive from the moment of the booking confirmation until the end. He kindly met us at the time of arrival, gave all necessary information, and also left a basket full of fruits to enjoy during our stay. The house is full of stories of his travels; it's almost like a little museum. There is a great atmosphere around, a very quiet spot to enjoy peace, and at the same time, it's close to the beautiful beaches. Everything was lovely, and our pup also enjoyed the green area around.
