breathtaking view!

I arrived early, 10am to see if we could leave our bags and get some information about boat trips but the host was not there. There was no area obvious to leave our luggage either, there is no reception at all. Fair enough, this was fine. When we returned later that afternoon, it took a while to locate the host, despite walking past him while he had a drink with other guests, and him not speaking to or acknowledging me - I wonder what he thought a person carrying a backpack, wandering around the back of his garden could be doing! The room was big and clean, nice view of lake.

Check-in. The noise!!!!!! Our room had the garden below, where people were shouting/singing/making so much noise until 1am ish. Kids running up and down corridors, banging doors. The garden has speakers blaring music until midnight. Then again at 7am next morning, shouting in corridors and banging doors. Bad neighbours but soundproofing also.

I liked the way they looked after us. Very caring and gentle people. You feel in good hands. We had dinner and breakfast and meals were delicious. Athmosphere was relaxing, music was lovely, enjoyed an early morning coffee by the river bank with a super view. Will definitely come back again next year.

All was good for us.

It's one of my favourite places I've been this summer and definitely the favourite of my wife. It's perfect for couples and families alike. You have access to everything and the staff is super friendly and they make you feel like you are home away from home. You have a lot of places just to be lazy, places for kids to play, places for adults to play, you can cook or make barbecue. The rooms are big and comfortable. We will be back again for sure.
