Great location. Nice open space. Great fire and secure garden for the dog. Great for a family for 4 loads of great space. Also grateful for the dog bowl.

Being really fussy the kitchen oven was abit of a fiddle.

The location was so peaceful and really allowed us to switch off and relax. The cottage itself is stunning and we regularly found ourselves just gazing around and taking in the detail of the wooden beams, the artwork and the scenery.

Everything was perfect. The owner has been the nicest person ever. We will surely book again to escape the chaos of the Metropolis.

Loved the feel of it, so cosy and reminded me of my childhood home. Everything was gorgeous, bathroom is lovely and the whole feel of the place. The view from the garden is so beautiful and the atmosphere so peaceful. Hot tub was really nice, even when it rained! We took our fire stick to watch tele and lit the log burner and sat back and relaxed! Perfect get away for a quiet, relaxation and nice walks.

Beautifully decorated and renovated cottage. I adored the stone flooring, it was done to a high quality. Each room is a great size, great entrance/boot room with washer/dryer. Amazing bathroom, massive and the shower was excellent. Lovely kitchen, lounge and the bedrooms were comfy and tastefully decorated. The view over the fields and hills was gorgeous and the horses in the field surrounding were so sweet to see. It’s a beautiful spot and we really enjoyed our stay. Great location to go off exploring then returned for a peaceful evening. Felt safe and the cottage had everything we needed.

Only a couple of things, bbq is rusty and very dirty we couldn’t use it sadly despite bringing bbq food especially for our stay. We decided to grill the food instead the grill pan was dirty with a layer of fat and food residue. The rest of the kitchen was spotless so I think the grill was just an over sight. The hot tub cover was extremely hard to get on and off as it’s not attached to the bar any more and the gazebo above it is really mucky with green residue. The rattan sofa was worn and damaged so we didn’t use it but there was a lovely garden iron table and chairs. We felt the cottage is a 10 out of 10 but outside just needs a bit of tlc. We would definitely return and it these issues just seemed a little out of place considering how well maintained everything else was.
