Great villa with everything you need available, clean and good bed. Lovely place to stay, with great roof terrace for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Only you do need a car, in town no shop bar or restaurant. But nearby some great places. And great hiking area

We absolutely loved the tasteful decoration of the house. Kitchen is very well equipped. Both terraces are lovely spaces for relaxation and especially the roof terrace has beautiful views. The area is also great for hiking and the national parks of Sierra Nevada and La Alpujarra are less than half an hour drive. If you look for a place to unwind and relax, definitively book this villa! Hosts are also wonderful and respond very quickly in case of questions.

Please be prepared for a short but steep climb to carry up your suitcase to the house in case you park your car next to the (lovely) church.

We can only fully recommend staying in this apartment, you won't regret it! We loved the location in the centre of the small village. The apartment has everything you might need for your stay. It is spacious, with a roof terrace with lovely views and a small swimming pool at the ground floor level. The neighbourhood cat says hi.

We stayed in April and had very comfortable temperatures. I could imagine that in Summer it may get warm outside as there is no green/trees (this being in the middle of an old little village). I would think though that inside it will stay cool as the walls are thick.

Stunning property set in the charming village of Saleres which due to its position offers incredible privacy. Beautifully renovated house with characterful and stylish decor throughout. The pool on the terrace leading off the lounge is wonderful and looks fabulous at night lit up. The top terraces are fantastic for the views of the village and you are not overlooked by anyone. Whilst the main bedroom is gorgeous and spacious with stairs leading up to the top terraces, I chose to stay in the smaller double room with the most amazing views over the village and right down the mountain valley. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning. It was interesting to observe the typical Spanish life, with its busy mornings with a little symphony of car horns as vans arrived in the village to bring goods as there are no shops, except one bakery. Followed by the still quietness of the afternoons to the gentle awakening of life again in the early evening. At night when the church is lit up it’s yet another stunning feature of this property. We did find the bar in the village but it wasn’t very appealing. The short drive to the next village has a great bar as recommended by the hosts Nick and Richard and also the Restaurant a few minutes further drive away which we just booked in for all four nights and ate superbly every night. Take a jacket or shawl as it gets a tad windy and cool on the terrace in the evenings! I am rarely happy to stay at home, but for two of our three full days there, we just enjoyed staying at the house with a little trip for lunch of vino and tapas in Lanjaron. We loved everything about this house. I can highly recommend and will hopefully return ourselves.

Nothing, but would like to see the third bedroom properly dressed if we return. It felt like it was still work in progress.
