Great location, friendly and helpful staff. A very well maintained site. Pub with great food 4 min walk away. Setting beside a beautiful river. Although near main road it was very quiet and peaceful.

The holiday cottage was a small self catering studio. It was well thought out with lots of storage. On arrival everywhere was immaculately clean and the studio was modern inside. It didn't look like it had been renovated that long ago. The facilities were brilliant, with the added bonus of having access to the spa at the local golf course. The studio was south facing with a little outside area, including a table and chairs. It was perfect for having breakfast outside and having a chill in the sun.

The studio was next door to the launderette, it didn't bother us at all as it was quiet.

Make sure you check the pictures for the 'entire home' you selected. This was our mistake and ended up in a Studio which really was not fit for our purpose. We also arrived in the dark and it was raining and so trying to find the site map to find our home could have been made easier as well as clearer directions on where the safe key box could be found.

Very tiny, not suitable really for two people. The bed mattress was very hard, clean bedding but would have require a better mattress peotector. The duvet and pillow are of extremely poor quality, lumpy polyester fibre. They had obviously been washed many, many times and needed replacing. Had been washed to death. Therefore, there was only a thin, poor quality nylon pillow protector. I’d have at least expected a good quality quilted type. Really let the place down. So uncomfortable we left on the next morning rather than stay another night. Most disappointed that the owners had scinprd on the bedding.

The location was perfect for us whilst visiting family in the area. Having access included to a nearby spa/ leisure facility influenced us in choosing this accommodation. A bonus was a friendly local pub adjacent to the site which served good quality food and drinks.
