Casa cueva La Tosca

Súkromné zároveň centrálna poloha v Setenille. Veľmi romantické zaujímavé ubytovanie pod skalou. Parkovanie síce nie pred ubytovanim to je len pre residentov ale vpohode sme našla vyššie na ulici. A keď sme odchádzali tak sme auto nachvíľu preparkovali pred ubytovanie. Majiteľka veľmi milá nápomocná. Jednoduchý check in aj check out.

El alojamiento está muy bien situado y la anfitriona da muy buenas recomendaciones. Fue todo muy rápido y muy bien. El lugar estaba muy limpio.

Solamente había champú, ni gel ni ningún otro producto de baño.

Kleines Haus für die Selbstverpflegung. Alles vorhanden, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Haus liegt mitten im kleinen Ort. Alles fußläufig erreichbar, vom Supermarkt bis zu den guten Restaurants.

Das Haus verfügt über keine Klimaanlage. Die meisten Restaurants haben ausschließlich über die Mittagszeit bis ca. 17 Uhr geöffnet. Nur ganz wenige Lokale öffnen erst wieder ab 20:30 Uhr. Ein Parkplatz ist am Haus nicht vorhanden. Parkraum bietet allerdings die örtliche Tiefgarage.

Nos gustó mucho la ubicación y el toque hogareño que le daba la piedra.

La propia piedra desprendía un olor peculiar similar al olor al queso. Al final te acostumbras.

While in Setenil I really wanted to stay in a property that was built into the cliff face. While this is a new build it's built to match the traditional houses in the village. It was exactly what I was looking for! The host was very friendly. I called her and she gave me the code for the lock box by the front door that contains the key. The location is very close to some of the most famous streets in Setenil as well as most of the shops and restaurants. There's a small supermarket nearby too and it's only a few minutes walk from the bus stop. My laptop connected straight away to the WiFi but for some reason my phone took awhile to connect. After that I have a good connection on both devices for the duration of my stay. The layout is very stylish with a lot packed into a small space. The kitchen has plenty of utensils etc. for making food. The price was very reasonable too. I really enjoyed my stay here!

I stayed for two nights. When I arrived the property it was very clean but by the end of the second night I was starting to notice some drawbacks for having a cliff face for a wall. Dust from the cliff was starting build up as well as a few pebble sized pieces dropping off it. By the time I left there was quite a lot of it building up, worth thinking about if you're staying for more than a few days. The stairs are quite steep. I'm quite tall so I was worried about banging my head on the cliff wall but I didn't. I don't think the stairs are suitable for the elderly or disabled. When I looked at the property online there was a house next door, but when I arrived the house had been demolished leaving this property looking slightly precarious on its own. During the day outside the property is quite busy, with cars and people coming and going. However, at night it was very quiet.

The house was unique. It was a great experience to stay in a house in the rock.

Downstairs was cool but in the mezzanine was quite hot

Perfect location, great apartment, only downside it was cold in March (even with the heating on, it takes a few hours) and there are no basic equipments like tea bags, salt, sugar

Perfectly located for a night in Setinel. There was everything we needed for a single night's stay.

The stairs could be an issue for some! The bedroom is a mezzanine floor with steep stairs leading from the lounge. The lack of lighting made it tricky to get downstairs to the bathroom overnight without waking each other up as the only safe way was to turn the lights on. Not sure there is really a solution but just be aware if you have mobility issues.

Compact but well done. Incredibly close to everything. Lovely to walk around the town.
