Alexandra place Skipton child and dog friendly

Very well presented and equipped house. Very comfortable. We didn't get to use the kitchen equipment as we were too busy with work but it seemed to have everything you would need. The sofas were comfy and the beds were great. The house was located in a really handy spot for us as we didn't need to go through the town to get to the venue we were working in but was also very handy to the restaurants and pubs etc later on in the evening.

Internal facilities were excellent and overall cleanliness good. Only comment would be the arms on the 2 sofas looked as though they would benefit from a steam clean, but it could be just wear and tear that gave that impression.

Car parking - drive was too steep to park comfortably and there was not too much room to park on roadside outside - quite busy. Also neighbouring property gave a poor impression as their back garden Looked like a junk yard.

The house is really clean with a big open living room with sky tv plus a comfy bed and a great shower and nice and quiet at night

We like the location is it is our first visit to Skipton. The property was easy to find. However, parking can be tricky on a downward slope. Access to the house was easy, using a key lock code. We like its location as it is within a stone's throw from the canal and we were able to walk along into the town. There is a supermarket within walking distance. There is adequate eating places. Our host was very thoughtful offering a couple of biscuits in our cup and saucer. Provision was adequate for which we are grateful.

The front garden could be made more welcoming. It looked neglected.

Every comfort was there. Well equipped and spacious. Good location close to the towpath.

Perfect for a base within Skipton for touring the Yorkshire Dales

The drive whilst very generous in size was at a steep angle and loose gravel which made manovering motorbikes very difficult. ( a unique problem for me i know but a consideration)

Spa Bath was great. Lovely enclosed garden for our dog. Deco was very stylish and kitchen lounge area very spacious . Very close to castle. Boat tours and numerous eating places

Nothing about the property but was such a shame next door property was such an untidy mess. Looked abandoned. Car with flat tyre in drive. Lots of rubbish in front and back garden . Spoilt our stay .

Location was brilliant Property was excellent, spacious with high standards, very relaxing and quiet.

My vehicle is relatively large so I found it convenient to park on the roadside.

Could not fault anything. Spotlessly clean , well equipped kitchen.lovely modern holiday home. Safe enclosed garden for my dog. 10 to fifteen minutes walk into skipton along the canal.lots to see and do fab time was had.
