It was hidden away. We wanted privacy, but close to volcano hiking. It is right in the middle of a tropical forest, at night you can hear all the forest bugs and animals. delightful!

The pillows were a little hard in the master room. But nothing major.

The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner was easy. Location in a rainforest just a couple of miles from Volcanoes National Park was perfect! The hot tub was an added bonus and great after a cool rainy day touring the park. The value for price was unbeatable. I highly recommend this property and will stay here again next time I am on this side of Big Island!

Dining options nearby were slightly limited and a little expensive, though we did enjoy the vegetarian restaurant Cafe Ono; it was a beautiful setting with tables on the back lawn and a serene garden to stroll in. we had excellent but pricey Thai food at Thai Thai Bistro.
