Spacious cottage in the village of Wembury

A modern clean, comfortable, cozy and well equipped property.

Lovely picturesque cosy cottage with plenty of room and great communal areas, and close to shop and pub.

Sorry, but the WiFi was frustratingly attrocious!

We had an amazing stay at Dove Cottage. It is very well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen was lovely with coffee filter machine and breakfast bar. My son loved the wet room next to his bedroom and the second shower was a great addition to de-sand after a day at the beach. The Wifi was super fast, which is perfect for an area with limited service, so the children were happy. Having the board games there too was great. The location of Dove Cottage is excellent. Right next to a convenience store and the Odd Wheel restaurant. And Wembury beach is a 20 minute-ish walk away (although we used the car park and drove most days!). Wembury beach is stunning-we couldn’t get enough of the views and took way too many photos!! It has rockpooling as well as sand for sandcastles. And the waves were great for body boarding. Take wet suits though because the water is pretty cold-fine on a hot day though. Cherryl was a fantastic host and really helpful with items we left behind!!Tjank you for a lovely holiday.

It had everything we needed for the week. There is a children’s play park near by, a shop and places to eat all of which are within walking distance. The kitchen is fully equipped and looked very new.

The bedding could be a bit better - perhaps cotton sheets?

Excellent facilities. There was milk, tea bags, coffee and biscuits upon arrival which was a nice touch. The host had also provided shower gel, shampoo, hairspray/gel if required and laundry and cleaning products. There was also beach equipment if needed. The kitchen utensils and cutlery where fully stocked. There was an excellent guide at the property. The property was clean and tidy upon arrival with clear directions given. The host was friendly and helpful with great information about the local area given.

Wembury is a bit quiet but the local pub The Odd Wheel reopens on 10/7 so we were just a week early🤣

Lovely quite village, with a fantastic beach. A really lovely touch having all you could need for the beach at the cottage to use. Great kitchen with everything you could need, so nice to have milk in the fridge, and tea and biscuits supplied, just what we needed after a very long drive.
