BEACHES - South Sands beach house

Lovely property, it is close to the beach, I loved the fact that the women I rented the house from gave us loads of recommendations on things to do during in our stay. The house was well equipped and tidy! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and enjoy our holiday!

Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3 storey modern property. It was very spacious and tastefully furnished. All the rooms were a great size and the bi-folding doors in both the sitting area and main bedroom were fab (letting lots of light in and great to open up if the weather is good). Also providing a lovely sea view which we loved. Modern well equipped kitchen with a dining area and cute courtyard style outdoor space on the ground floor. Great that there were 2 large bathrooms (one on each of the upper floors) and a separate toilet on the ground floor. We were a family of 3 generations including 5 adults and we felt we had lots of space, particularly as the property is split over 3 floors. Relaxing sitting room/lounge area which which was great to use before heading out or returning back for the day/evening. A TV on all 3 floors and lovely that there were DVDs and board games available if you had time to use them. We went out to visit different parts of Torbay whilst there and it was great that we had a private parking space directly outside the door, that meant we could park up when we returned. Sharon (the host) was quick to respond to messages and provided some welcome advice on restaurants to try (Bistrot Pierre, Below Decks, Visto Lounge, Otto to name a few we tried and would recommend). Overall we all loved our stay at this property and all said we would definitely return here again and highly recommend to others.

Excellent property in immaculate condition. Host was quick in replying to messages. Really comfortable beds. Everything catered for. Bottle of milk in fridge was greatly appreciated. Ample parking space. Brilliant TV and dvds. Couldn't ask for more

The location was fantastic, right near the beach with plenty to do. The accommodation was lovely with everything you need, plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children and the parking for 2 cars is great. The view was great with the outside seating welcome with the warmer weather!

Needs black out blinds in the back bedroom (child room) and more fans as it gets very hot in the sun!

Every facility was catered for and the whole accommodation was absolutely pristine.

Clean and well equipped house. Walking distance to Torquay for those able bodied. Or on the main bus route. Facilities great and everything you need.

Some road noise at busy times in morning…Nothing major though. Electric shower was not the best for consistency on heat of water.
