Tolle Lage!

We had a very pleasant stay at this cottage. The location is excellent—peaceful, yet conveniently situated for exploring the area. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, always quick to assist whenever needed. Would happily stay again!

A few minor drawbacks: there was no tumble dryer or freezer, which would have been useful during a longer stay, and a few lightbulbs hadn’t been replaced. However, these were small issues in what was otherwise a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very pleasant house and location. We had everything we needed, except a cheese-grater!

There were areas could have done with a tidy up such as some of the drawers and the porch leading from the kitchen.

What a fantastic house to stay in , we had an amazing holiday. Views to die for , so peaceful and comfortable. Great location.

This is such a unique cottage! One has a sea and mountain view from every room! We absolutely loved staying there. All is made with love to detail. The location is absolutely perfect for getting very quickly to the most scenic parts of the island. The host was very welcoming.

the uniqueness of the place, home from home. everything you needed,.views were next to nothing. excellent base for nearby places to visit with the Quiraing on your doorstep. just perfect

not staying longer

Great location with magnificent views and friendly owner who welcomed us with shortbreads and whiskey. There was a little grocery left for us too, which was very generous and convenient when we arrived after a long journey.

Too much light in the bedrooms which woke us up at 5 a.m. and a few useful things missing in the kitchen, like a vegetable peeler or a salad bowl. The cottage feels cozy but is a touch run-down with, for instance, no extractor fan in the bathroom, torn curtains in the lounge and untidy, dusty cupboards.

Not much - minor things that are easily fixed include a wok and bigger drink glasses
