Tirohanga Wai - Waikawa Holiday Home

This home was beautiful and roomy with 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms. Was so worried after booking as I saw some terrible reviews but thankfully I need not have worried. The kitchen was very workable with gas hob, dishwasher and lots of crockery and cutlery. The view was super amazing. Sadly it rained all weekend but the room in this home made it super comfy. Sky is available. A BBQ was on deck with gas bottle plus table and umbrella.

I am concerned as there appears to be little repairs going on outside the home and the trees are slowly going to take this amazing view. The price was very high. Some of the family weren't happy as with only 7 of us staying it was $100/night each. I personally was happy as have paid for far worse. The carport is in need of work as roof is swollen and leaking.

Good location

This family bach needs a good clean and an update to make it suitable to rent to 8 people. Black mould in several places. Short on cutlery and dishes. We opened all windows and gave it a good clean when we arrived.

The location. The inside of the house has been renovated and is comfortable.

Fridge had not been properly cleaned and stank. Washing machine did no operate and was not fixed despite our asking Bachcare to get it fixed. Air conditioner unit made high pitched noise. No broom to sweep the floor. Clothes dryer in garage which was full of junk.
