"fantastic short stay"

really easy access, beautiful house, lovely area and the host left us brownies, lovely thought

I love to cook and bake no kitchen scales, (I am sure most people do not bake while on holiday) we were unable to park outside the property, but were given directions for nearby parking.

"Lovely cottage, very clean, comfortable and convenient - wonderful historic village."

Excellent location, right in the heart of Whalley old town. We could easily walk to the Abbey, restaurants, market. Whalley is a lovely town. Lots of walking trails available also for people who want to get outdoors.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge in the old town, but our host gave very specific instructions and tips of where to more easily find parking, so that was very helpful.

The house was beautifully presented, and very convenient for walking into the village as well as driving to the Forest of Bowland. The Halloween basket for the kids was a lovely touch.
