Riviera Cottage

The location was perfect - situated between two of the major wine farms in Tulbagh - Saronsberg and Montpelier. The property was fenced, which is a must when traveling with our furry friend. The house was warm and welcoming - it's not a 5 star hotel but more like coming home to the warm embrace of family. The cottage is surrounded by the Wittenberg mountains. We were greeted by Nadine - the horse that freely roams the property. She is lovely, remember to take an apple or a carrot for her ;).

Lovely little cottage with all you need in rooms and kitchen. 3 bedrooms,, kitchen, lounge and 2 bathrooms. Also has nice area to sit outside with a hot tub. It is cool inside even on hot days. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, offering assistance for any needs.

Exceptional all round, not sure who enjoyed it more, us or our dogs! Will definitely be back!

The photos don't do the cottage any justice it is so much nicer. Everything was perfect, comfortable and enjoyable. Our host was wonderful and has made such an effort in the surrounding area to make your stay memorable. The horse on the farm was really quite special.

This stay exceeded my expectations, everything was absolutely great. Conveniently located in a quiet and scenic part of Tulbagh, while still only being a short drive from the town centre in case anything is needed. Property has everything you could ask for, well-maintained and comfortable, Rina is an amazing host and does everything she can to make you feel welcome. There is also a lovely horse on the property that will come up and greet you and is quite friendly. The views are amazing, and there is a short but fun walk that you can do on the property as well.
